Teleri-Siân (piano)
Teleri-Siân is a solo pianist. A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, she has performed as both recital and concerto soloist throughout Europe, in Hong Kong and in the United States. In recent years she has developed a keen interest in playing new piano works. A recent highlight – before the pandemic – being the world première of Nicholas Simpson’s Piano Concerto. She teaches at Bangor Univeristy, Junior RNCM and Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias, where she was instrumental in establishing the Denbighshire branch.Teleri-Siân is also a linguist. She has a Masters Degree in Modern Languages from the University of Manchester, and she speaks Welsh, English, French and Italian. She lives in North Wales with her husband and their two young children.
